Prompts for a Meditation on a Space of Contentment

I invite you to meditate on a space of contentment for 3 minutes. Read through these prompts to leave the space you are in and explore a space where you feel you can be content. Please feel free to stay on one of the prompts for the duration. If you are struggling to picture a space, try and focus on a detail and expand it from there.

Be as comfortable as you can in your current space. Feel free to leave your computer to achieve this.

Acknowledge the space you are in and your body’s position in this physical space.

Picture a space that allows you to feel as content as possible.

Place yourself in this space.

Acknowledge your body in this space.

How does your body position itself?

Can you reach out into the space?

Can you touch the ground?

Can you feel any sensations?


Now that you have an idea of your space of contentment, I want you to try and imagine this space from a different perspective.

Where are you now in relation to where you were before?

Are there any details of the space that are now clearer?

Has the scale of your body or the space changed?
